Hike

We did it again! We all hiked up to the Y this morning. We've done it 3 times all together now and it's still pretty hard! The kids are troopers and I think we all had a good time! We did see James from Studio C coming down the trail as we were just starting. I hesitated too long to ask if we could get a picture. Maybe we should head up there next Saturday to see if we can run into him again.

Pinewood Derby

Mason competed in his first pinewood derby tonight. There are only 3 cubscouts in the ward, so they invited the entire ward to participate. Mason came in first place for the scouts and he also came in first place out of all 28 cars that participated! He was pretty thrilled. None of us thought his car would be as fast as it was. We named it "The Red Wedge." Way to go Mason!

Mason's Party

We took a few of Mason's friends bowling today to celebrate his 9th birthday. We stopped by the BYU Creamery after for a yummy treat. Pretty fun!
