Soccer season

It has started again! Ellie was very excited to have her first soccer game. It was great to see her so confident heading out on the field. She didn't hesitate to go after the ball at all. She had a fun time playing and she scored a goal!

Baby Jane

We were very excited to go meet our newest cousin, Jane, a few days ago. Mason and Ellie were very excited to hold a brand new baby...Cassidy, not so much. Jane looks just like her big sister, Cora. Congratulations Erin and Geoff!

This was Cassidy's reaction when Dave asked if she wanted to take a picture with Jane.

No More Training Wheels!

Ellie has made the leap. She can now ride her bike without training wheels. She actually learned VERY quickly. By the third day we were practicing, she was starting her bike by herself and looking very comfortable. She was very easy to teach.

Sunday Walks

On Sundays, we like to go for walks on the BYU campus. We are happy the weather is warming up and the snow is melting. We've missed being able to do this during the winter. This past Sunday the rain couldn't even keep us away. It was really refreshing to walk in the rain with our umbrellas.

Fairy Tea Party

This was the cutest thing ever! The Provo Library does this once a year and it is TOTALLY worth the $5 it costs. Ellie and I found out about it, and she immediately wanted to go and asked at least 4 days a week "How many days until the Tea Party?" That started about 40 days ago. It was great to be able to go today and experience it.

Everyone who went had to wear "Their fairy finest or sunday best." We sat at a beautifully decorated table and got to watch as the Fairy King entered the ballroom. We watched ballerinas dance, and learned how to curtsy. Then all the little fairies got to go up and twirl and curtsy before the Fairy King. It was pretty adorable. We even got to eat some yummy tea party treats. Ellie and I left with a new wand and a fairy necklace. It was a pretty special morning!
