Chalk

Ellie and Cassidy spent close to 3 hours creating this masterpiece with chalk. Now we hope it doesn’t rain anytime soon!

6th grade graduation

Ellie finished 6th grade. Since we’ve been doing “at home” learning, things were a little different in celebrating graduating from elementary school. She drove through the parking lot to drop off and pick up her things and got a candy lei and a picture by 2020 balloons. The PTA also dropped off a goodie bag to all the 6th graders with a Fiiz gift card and other treats. They also put a sign in our yard. So now it’s off to junior high!

She...is...so...sweet!

Happy Birthday, Cassidy!

Cassidy turned 10 and got to celebrate her birthday quarantine style! Curbside delivery MOD Pizza eaten at the park, Grammy and Grampy over for ice cream cake sitting outside 6 feet apart, and no friend birthday party, but still lots of presents and love. We love you, Cassidy!

Mom’s Bowling League

I joined a bowling league this year, and I got to bowl every Friday. I’m the youngest in the league by about 15 years, but I had such a good time. Lots of nice ladies to spend my time with. It turns out my team “Up Your Alley” ended up coming in 1st place. We earned this awesome trophy!

State Swim Meet

Ellie and Cassidy both competed at the Utah short course state meet this past weekend. They each swam the maximum 7 individual events, and both were in 3 relays. It was a busy three days. The swims were almost all best times and lots of finals were made. Some highlights were Cassidy placed 5th in both the 50 yard Free and the 500 yard Free. And her 400 free relay team came in first! Ellie made finals in all the butterfly events. 19th in the the 50 fly and 100 fly and 10th in the 200 fly. The 200 fly is the most grueling event of all and Ellie doesn’t like it much, but she’s so good at it! This was only her second time swimming the race. The first time she qualified for state and the second time was at state and she dropped 5 seconds!

Mason Basketball

Mason played Mapleton City basketball this year. He had two great coaches who were volunteer BYU students. They did an amazing job coaching. It was a lot of fun to play and to watch.

Happy Birthday, mom!
