Happy Halloween!

We had a busy day with a preschool party, a school costume parade, then off to Lehi to have dinner and trick-or-treating with our cousins. Fun, fun, fun!!!

The MBA Spouse Association (MBASA) here at BYU is AMAZING! They are a great support and also organize so many fun activities for our families. There was some interest in doing dance classes for the little kids, so a couple of ladies who have had some dance experience volunteered to teach them on Saturdays. They get to do it in a real dance room on the BYU campus. Ellie went the first time, and she loved it, of course. I asked Cassidy if she wanted to come try it too and she said she did. So, today, Ellie and Cassidy went to dance class together. It was the cutest thing! Ellie was so good at making sure Cassidy knew what to do and where to go. I was happy to see her be such a great big sister. I was also surprised to see how well Cassidy listened. She was way into it and tried everything that was asked of her. I took quite a few pictures, just because they were so cute.

Pumpkin Patch!

Our children have always gone to the same pumpkin patch up in Farmington every year of their lives. This year, we got to experience a new pumpkin patch down in Springville. It was a lot of fun and was actually a pretty hot day!

 They had a small petting zoo. Mason was the only child willing to touch (or even get close to) the animals.

 The kids LOVED the "Pit of Corn." I don't know what they really call it, that's what I decided to name it. They didn't want to leave.

He's 7!

How can my kids be growing up so fast? Mason turned 7 today and that means a year away from being baptized! Mason had a great day. He was able to open up his gifts in the morning, then we went to church, then he stayed busy for the rest of the afternoon putting together his LEGO sets. He got 6 new packs today and put together 5! He wanted to have chicken rolls for dinner, which were very tasty, and for dessert he wanted brownies with chocolate frosting and crumbled Crunch bars on top. Delicious! He told me he had a great birthday, and that's what I hope for every year. Happy Birthday, Mason!

Bridal Veil Falls

We took a little hike to go see Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon. It's pretty awesome. The kids had a good time and it was nice to enjoy the Fall colors on the trees!

She's 5!

Happy Birthday, Ellie!

Today we celebrated Ellie's 5th birthday. I can't believe she is 5! Today we watched a movie, painted our toenails, went to the park, opened presents, ate Jimmy John's for dinner, had yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting and went back to the park to play with Ellie's new soccer ball. It was a great day! Ellie is a smart, beautiful, caring 5 year old and we are lucky to have her in our family!
