Cassidy's turn!

Cassidy had her first soccer game today. She definitely knew what to do after spending hours watching her brother and sister play. She didn't hesitate to get right in there. She's pretty cute in her uniform too!

Soccer

Ellie had her first game tonight. She's on the 1st/2nd grade team which means she plays on a field twice the size of last year and with goalies. Ellie (#5) played so well! She really knows where to be on the field and where to position herself. That must come naturally to her because I know very little about soccer and definitely didn't teach her that! Good job, Ellie!

Back to School!

Mason is in 3rd grade and Ellie is in 1st. I can't believe how much they are growing up! It was still a little hard for me to let them be away from home for so long. Even though they fight, I love having us all together. The kids reported having a fantastic first day of school. They both really like their teachers and they have friends in their classes. Ellie loves eating lunch at school and Mason's teacher already said she's going to need to challenge him! He loved hearing that. Yay! I love it when they are excited for school!

It was a cooler day at the beach, but that didn't stop the kids from getting in the water. Grampy helped us build a pretty awesome sand whale and the girls were having fun looking for shells. Right before we left, Uncle Eric told Mason that if he laid down on the sand and let the wave wash over him, he would buy him more Los Panchos burritos. Mason took the challenge and earned his prize!

Hike

The kids are collecting quite a lot of hiking gear from Uncle Eric. Today they added some hiking shirts to the camelbacks, hiking socks and snack packs. We hiked through the open space at Hidden Lakes Park with Eric and Grampy.
