Way Too Many Pictures!

We just returned from our summer vacation to California. We visited Grammy Trish and Grampy Mike. Grammy was able to fly to our house a few days before we left so she could drive out with me and the kids (Dave flew out a week later). During our stay we also got to see Aunt Meggie, Uncle Eric and Aunt Brooke. We had such a fun time (we always do). We went swimming almost everyday, ate lots of yummy food (including 3 recipes of "brookies") and the kids kept everyone busy playing. I took a lot of pictures, so let me show you what we did!

Cassidy decided she wanted to try a lime. She liked it!

It rained a couple of days while we were there.
Since we couldn't swim, Eric thought we should build a fort. Awesome!

Miniature golfing!

Mason's reaction to his hole in one.

Grammy and Grampy celebrated their anniversary while we were there.
Mason and Ellie made them dinner and acted as their waiters.
They got a pretty good tip!

Cassidy and Uncle Eric

Megan bought this for Ellie in Chinatown. Everytime we went out to the pool,
Ellie brought it with her.

Mason lost his first tooth while on vacation.
He said, "I can't believe I'm holding my tooth in my hand!"

Aunt Megan and Cassidy

Love this face!

My little swimmers!

Megan made firework cookies with the kids.

We went up to Woodland for the fourth of July. Patty and Tom put on a show in their driveway. It was pretty cool and Mason loved everything about it. Ellie thought it was too loud, so we watched from inside the house. Here we are with Great Grandma and Grandpa Fotheringham.

Mason holding his first sparkler!

We went to a baseball game too!

Cassidy stayed busy eating ice.

We love the beach. This was the first time Cassidy really got to experience it. Last year she was so tiny. She loved it.

She loved it too much. She ate sand and definitely paid for it later. This may be too much information, but after 2 diarrhea diapers, she had a tablespoon of sand in her daiper. It looked like it did when she ate it.
"Buddies!"
The next generation

Ellie was super excited about her sand castle.

Our last night there.
We had so much fun. It definitely was hard to leave.
Can't wait for our next visit!
