MBASA (MBA spouse association) put together a couple of nights to learn how to make a friendship quilt. We all chose our BYU colored fabric, made our individual strips, then traded them. I finished my quilt last night. Even though there are obvious mistakes, and it's far from perfect, it actually looks like a quilt. It's comfy and will remind me of this time in our lives. It feels very good to accomplish something like this. I want to make more quilts, and now I understand why Nancy, my mother-in-law, quilts so often. It's fun and creative!
(Just as a reminder to myself, I made this quilt with Heidi Mayorga, Makana Hansen, Kim Baker and Katrina Seamons. My strip is the middle one)
