Somersaults!
Cassidy discovered a couple days ago that she can now do a somersault. It kind of happened on accident and it caught her off guard, but she did it! She's quite good too! I love trying to get action shots. They never turn out, but it's pretty funny to see them all together.

My first quilt
MBASA (MBA spouse association) put together a couple of nights to learn how to make a friendship quilt. We all chose our BYU colored fabric, made our individual strips, then traded them. I finished my quilt last night. Even though there are obvious mistakes, and it's far from perfect, it actually looks like a quilt. It's comfy and will remind me of this time in our lives. It feels very good to accomplish something like this. I want to make more quilts, and now I understand why Nancy, my mother-in-law, quilts so often. It's fun and creative!
(Just as a reminder to myself, I made this quilt with Heidi Mayorga, Makana Hansen, Kim Baker and Katrina Seamons. My strip is the middle one)

Soccer season
It has started again! Ellie was very excited to have her first soccer game. It was great to see her so confident heading out on the field. She didn't hesitate to go after the ball at all. She had a fun time playing and she scored a goal!
Baby Jane
We were very excited to go meet our newest cousin, Jane, a few days ago. Mason and Ellie were very excited to hold a brand new baby...Cassidy, not so much. Jane looks just like her big sister, Cora. Congratulations Erin and Geoff!
This was Cassidy's reaction when Dave asked if she wanted to take a picture with Jane.
