Happy 4th Birthday, Cassidy!

What a happy day! This morning, Cassidy and I went to Barnes and Noble to get her free birthday cupcake, then we headed over to the pet store to look at all the animals. We picked up Ellie from school, then checked Mason out of school early so we could go to Kangaroo Zoo and climb and hop all over the inflatables. Then we had to go to piano lessons followed by baseball practice and finally to dinner. Cassidy picked Pizza Pie Cafe as her birthday dinner. After dinner, Cassidy FINALLY got to open her presents. She got quite the haul. We finished up with eating cake and ice cream and playing with all her new stuff. A fun day, indeed! I still can't believe she is 4!

Mason's last soccer game was yesterday and he starts baseball practice today with the same coach. The fun never ends!

Provo City Half Marathon

I ran my third half marathon today. My legs hurt! I felt really good for the whole run. I had a better plan than in years past and did a better job at managing my pace instead of letting the adrenaline take over and starting out too fast. I ran it 17 minutes faster than last year and that felt awesome. The kids wanted to try on my medal. Except Cassidy did not want her picture taken with it on again this year. I don't understand why she doesn't want her picture taken? Maybe one of these times she'll tell me why. 

Graduation

Dave graduated from BYU with his MBA this past Friday. Yay!!!! I can't believe how fast it went and how hard Dave worked. I'm so happy we decided to do this. It was totally worth it, and was an amazing experience for our whole family.

Happy Easter

We had a happy Easter even though Ellie was throwing up the night before. We dyed eggs on Saturday and after a night full of little sleep and lots of vomit, the kids searched for eggs. Ellie seemed happy but still pretty exhausted. We rested the rest of the day, and watched lots of videos about Christ and his resurrection. Good day. 

It's warming up

It's getting warm outside, but the pool isn't open yet. We don't have sprinklers or a hose, so we use a bucket of water, sponges and spray bottles. Still a great way to cool off! 

Our very first pet

Ellie picked out a fish today. This is our first family pet. We are starting out simple. Ellie decided to name her Elsa (from "frozen") Let's see how long we can keep this fish alive!

Cassidy

We should've done this awhile ago, but I put the training wheels back on so Cassidy could figure out how to ride a big girl bike. She loved it. Now it's time to get Ellie a bigger bike! 

I'm ok with this

A little bit of snow in April, that only stays on the grass for a couple hours is ok with me. Cassidy got to enjoy playing in it while the other two kids were in school. Shhh! Don't tell. They will be jealous!

Soccer Time!

I love watching my kids play soccer! They both are enjoying it so much and have awesome coaches this season.
